Gaststaette Alt-Niederrhein in Duisburg

We actually wanted to eat there on New Year's Eve, which was unfortunately prevented by the lockdown. So we asked if we could order and collect anyway, which we did. So there was game goulash with spaetzle, red cabbage and pear with cranberries on New Year's Eve. I can only say: superbly prepared and absolutely delicious. I hope the restaurant will stay with us for a long time.

Hidden restaurant with beer garden at the back. The service extremely attentive and friendly. Delicious bruschetta as a starter, small salad with caramelized nuts here even hint on possible incompatibility with nuts. Then 4 small steaks with fresh mushrooms fried potatoes. Excellent. .? Small parking lot in front of the house. Here I like to go back. A little secret tip. I can recommend it.

10 minutes from Meiderich and you feel like you're on vacation. A really nice manageable restaurant with a small but good menu. Both outside and inside no hall character, rather romantic. The service was super nice and always offered to go in to eat, as it can get uncomfortable outside because of the wasps. Tables are probably only set up 1: 1 so that when it rains you can eat comfortably inside. Tables are also reserved only once at noon and once in the evening, so that you can really eat out without time pressure, without anyone looking at the clock and saying: the table will be passed in 1.5 hours. The food was good and tasty, the service really nice and friendly. We felt really good and thought we were on vacation. Far from the mass gastronomy, really nice. Gladly again, thanks for this evening.
